All Educational Supervisors must have attended a CPsychI Trainer Induction since July 2016. Since July 2016, both the BST and HST curricula have been updated along with significant revisions made to the College’s Regulations for training. Therefore, it is essential that Educational Supervisors are equipped with the knowledge of these changes in preparation for supervising Trainees.
This Induction is aimed those who have been named as an Educational Supervisor on Educational Approval Form for the training year July 2019 – July 2020 and have not attended a Trainer Induction since July 2016. Another Induction date has also been scheduled for the 3rd of April 2019.
These will be the only Train the Trainer Inductions in 2019 prior to the submission dates for Educational Approval Forms for July 2020. Any Educational Supervisor who has not attended a Trainer Induction since July 2016 will not be eligible to be an Educational Supervisor for the year July 2020-July 2021.
