Trauma can come in many forms and has the potential to have a lasting negative impact on every aspect of an individual’s life. In this webinar, delivered as part of the Saint John of God Research Foundation’s Learning Exchange Series, clinicians, researchers, and care providers will consider the topic of trauma in a number of contexts, and will share experiences of addressing trauma and implementing a trauma informed approach to care. Specifically, trauma and disability will be examined, in addition to childhood trauma, and the implementation of a trauma informed approach in modern day slavery services. There will be a panel discussion at the end of the webinar with an opportunity to comment and ask questions.
