BJPsych Virtual Journal Club: Childhood adversity and adolescent psychopathology: evidence for mediation in a national longitudinal cohort study

This BJPsych hosted Journal Club will include the authors of the research, international experts and the editorial board of the BJPsych. It will provide learning around the research in question as well as research methods and critical appraisal.
A journal club which is not confined to a doctor’s own hospital, but open to all psychiatrists in Ireland. Also attending will be the authors of the research along with international experts and members of the editorial board of the BJPsych. This will provide a highly expert modelling of the process of a Journal Club and will provide valuable teaching around research methodologies and critical appraisal.
Content will include the presentation of a recent journal article by a group of trainees followed by a discussion with participating trainees, consultants and other non-training NCHDs.
