The College of Psychiatrists of Ireland is pleased to announce that registration for the Careers in Psychiatry Event 2022 is now OPEN.
Organised by the Trainee Committee of the College, the CPsychI Careers in Psychiatry Event is aimed at those who are interested in a career in Psychiatry or who simply want to find out more about the work Psychiatrists do. The event includes talks and presentations by Consultants and Trainees in Psychiatry, as well as service users, carers and family members.
On the day, we aim to detail the training pathway and research opportunities, as well as exploring both the cutting edge science aspects of Psychiatry and the varied career opportunities that lie within the many psychiatric specialties and subspecialties – areas of interest which are often not covered in Undergraduate teaching.
This year’s event will take place on Tuesday, 11 October 2022 at 6:00 – 7:30PM
This event will take place online and is free to attend for all medical students, interns and NCHDs.
