Who are Trainees?
Trainees are those doctors currently training in psychiatry, who are not yet in consultant posts. Non consultant hospital doctors also qualify for the Trainee rate.
Once you have booked your ticket for the congress, trainees and students should provide a certificate of their full time student status.You will need to provide this in advance on the conference, in order to gain entry.

Registration

Registration for Trainees will open from 11:30am on Saturday 6th July at the Convention Centre Dublin. You will also be able to register on Sunday 7th July. The programme is open to anyone who has paid for ESCAP 2013, however you must pre-book to gain entry as we have limited spaces available.

30 ‘Free’ Places – CLOSED – We are no longer accepting entries.

ESCAP 2013 is providing 30 free places to ESCAP trainees working or studying outside of BAND A countries. Preference will be given to those outside of band A (See list), however other applicants will be considered and preference may be given to those who have submitted an abstract for the conference.

To apply for one of these places, please send a letter of endorsement from your national society along with your resume and a short letter as to why you would like to attend. In order to apply for one of these places, you must also be from a country whose society is a member of ESCAP. See list here

A free place includes Free registration over the 4 days.
A free does not include Accommodation or Travel and the GALA dinner.

Proof of purchase of travel must be provided if your application is successful.

The ESCAP member countries that are eligible based on the list of National Societies (ESCAP National Societies) are as follows: Bulgaria; Croatia; Lithuania; Poland; Romania; Russia; Serbia; Turkey and Ukraine.

We are considering applications from BAND A countries members until 16th May 2013.

Hostel
We have selected various hotels close to The Convention Centre and in the city centre of Dublin. Special rates are available to ESCAP participants and attendees.
