RESOURCES:

The College's PCS Handbook gives information on the requirements of the PCS, the role of the College and the Medical Council, and advice on what you need to do to comply with the requirements of the Medical Practitioners Act and the Medical Council.  (This handbook is being updated at present and will be re-issued.)

The Medical Council website has sections on Professional Competence, including Frequently Asked Questions,  and gives further information on PCS.  The Medical Council launched its "Professional Competence – Promoting Quality Assurance” document in May 2010. Full information on Professional Competence, including documents for download, are available from the Medical Council website.
